IT Audit

A successful IT audit will not only review an organization’s policies and procedures but also appropriately assess technology risks and the sufficiency of safeguards and controls that are currently implemented. Contineo’s extensive expertise in IT audit and IT security can help ensure the integrity, reliability and performance of your systems, network and processes.

Contineo's primary objectives when providing IT audit services are to evaluate the general controls, application controls, and security controls relating to systems, networks, and operational procedures and to identify internal control strengths and weaknesses. Our reviews are conducted using the guidelines established by both the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) and ISACA.

Ultimately we are here to help our clients protect themselves from those that don’t have the company’s best interests at heart – hackers, disgruntled employees, and even ill-intentioned customers. Therefore, Contineo also uses a customized, comprehensive work program that goes deeper into the technology arena than the FFIEC standards. Many of our clients have benefited from our in-depth process by identifying previously unknown risks as well as gaining efficiencies in various operational areas within the organization. Our clients are a testament to the high "satisfaction rating" we have earned from this level of review.
